The Istituto per il Credito Sportivo (ICS) is a social bank established in 1957 with the aim of financing sport and culture in Italy. At the beginning, only public projects such as the construction of sports infrastructure coming from the municipalities, the regions, and provinces were funded by the bank. In 1985, ICS also started to offer its seervices to private organisations.

With the election of a new the new board, in 2018, the role of the bank expanded to the development of the country and the management of sport funds for the government.

 

ICS, a leader in the financing of sports facilities

ICS has contributed to the growth of Italy by financing more than 75% of the country's sports facilities. The bank has also started an important path of development in the fundding of investments in the field of cultural heritage and activities with strong social impacts.
